PAYMA has evolved in a short time from a family business to a clear model of modern, undertaking and solvent company, made to satisfy the needs that our society is demanding.
BEGINNINGS
PAYMA founder, Francisco Valdivia, was an undertaking and restless child. At 18, after ending his professional design studies, financed working on harvest fields, he went out of his family environment to begin a new personal stage in the footwear sector.
During the first years, we worked along his father-in-law -Manuel Gómez-, footwear entrepreneur since 1959, until 1984, when he bought his first shop at Arcos de la Frontera, Cádiz. Two years later, after the management success of his first establishment, he opened a second shop at the same location with PAYMA as the definitive brand.
EXPANSION
During this stage, a lot of resources were invested to travel around Europe to explore international fashion trends and new commercial facilities solutions. Acquiring this experience and management know-how was essential to offer you the ultimate fashion at the best price.
Years on, company starts to growth across different locations, opening new shops at the most important cities of our region.
In order to attend this market share gain and to offer the best service to satisfy our customers, several outlets are opened at La Línea de la Concepción, Los Barrios y El Puerto de Santamaría. These outlets were designed for stock and sale products. There were no excuses anymore to wear fashionable and economic shoes..!
In 1999, due to the solid growth of the company, the logistic platform and Headquarter complex are officially opened. Ten shops were managed at this point in time, but when built, these facilities were designed to support and supply more than one hundred shops.
CONSOLIDATION
PAYMA evolves towards future. Our company hasn’t stopped growing since established and, nowadays, PAYMA has more than 27 shops throughout the main locations of Cádiz and Málaga.
PAYMA has a solid belief in evolution. The strength to advance and motivate all our labour force is leaned over this vision. Pursuing a team evolution, we bet on training programs for our employees, internal promotion and responsibility encouragement on each member of the team.
All of these efforts have the same reason: to let our customers always find updated, economic and modern footwear following the latest trends on fashion.
